Brittany Lozdoski

"I am a Central City implant from Rockford, IL. I graduated from Western Illinois University with a Journalism/Marketing major. I have moved around quite a bit chasing after dreams and, well, it’s been a pretty sweet ride.

I landed in Nebraska after meeting Nathan while doing a work-trade on an organic farm in Hana, Hawaii. We ventured back here to start up a small organic produce farm and see where our next journey would take us. In May of 2021 I branched out to do more with food and started a plant-based salad delivery company. It was a true honor to share my passion for plant-based foods with our community and gain their support and love in a new way. So much gratitude was felt throughout the process, but some chapters close for others to open. In December of 2023, Epic closed and I ventured out into a new career path with 1to1 Technologies. Working for a company that is active in the community is something of importance. I am excited to watch this new chapter of mine unfold.

Coming in as an outsider and one who travels often, I have seen businesses within communities work together and it’s pretty special to see. I am striving to bring such inspiration to the Central City area.

As an active participant and previous business owner in the community, I can understand the needs and wants for our community as we continue to grow together.

There is a world of opportunity and possibilities in our town of Central City, and I am happy to be a part of it."
