Emily Osantowski - Director
A longtime Central City resident, Emily brings experience in event planning, marketing and small business ownership to the position, where she will manage all daily operations and membership duties.
Chamber Board President Jamie Wright said, “We are pleased to welcome Emily to the Chamber and appreciate the enthusiasm she has shown for tackling this role with its diverse range of responsibilities.
“The board also would like to extend its sincere gratitude for the above-and-beyond service of out-going Chamber director Donna Jorgensen,” Wright added. “Donna has made personal sacrifices and lent her exceptional talents to carry the Chamber through a few years of growth and transition, and we very much appreciate her contributions.”
Emily is the owner of a home-based macrame business, Losing My Twine, and also is employed in a customer relations role with Axeholes of Kearney. She also serves as an event planner for the Free Bird Committee, which organizes local entrepreneurial vendor fairs.
She is currently completing orientation for her new position and will establish regular Chamber office hours soon, Wright noted. Among her first duties will be assisting with the Chamber’s various holiday events and promotions.
“I am grateful for this opportunity and stoked for what’s ahead,” Emily said. “Our community is something I genuinely adore, and I look forward to contributing to and growing the Chamber in this new chapter.”
