Opportune Acres

Opportune Acres is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities to individuals with special needs through inclusive experiences. From adaptive swim lessons to equine-assisted therapy to special education consulting, we continue to “see a need and fill a need” in our local and surrounding communities.

When two healthcare workers began to see some major gaps in our healthcare system for the most vulnerable populations, Opportune Acres was founded. In 2021, we began the journey to provide services to the best people (those with different needs and abilities) in the best areas (rural communities).

How?

We provide programs that are accessible and inclusive.
We provide resources to organizations or communities that promote engagement of individuals with ALL abilities.

We train staff, provide support, and access assistive technology tools that ensure accessibility for all people to participate in various programs and events.
We provide unique opportunities to facilitate, develop, and maintain skills to support all individuals to improve their quality of life.

Opportunities don’t happen, WE create them!
